Power CD to MP3 Maker is a two-in-one tool for digitizing your CD collection. It will function as a CD ripper and audio converter with support for the most popular audio formats, such as MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG. The tool offers excellent ripping speed and provides high quality output files due to conversion without a temporary WAV file and implementation of the advanced LAME Encoder and OGG codec.
A very user-friendly interface makes it possible for users with any level of computer experience to rip CD to MP3 in a few clicks. After inserting the audio CD to be ripped into your CD-ROM, select output format. You can adjust settings for each of the supported file formats or use the default values. The tool allows you to generate various qualities of MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG files by customizing constant bitrates and variable bitrates, frequency, and other settings. The CD grabber supports jitter correction to compensate for reading errors. It can be activated by selecting the Paranoid Grab mode in the CD settings. Now click 'Rip CD', and the process will begin.
Power CD to MP3 Maker supports multiple CD drivers which automatically detect audio CDs when they are inserted into the drive. The latest version also has a tool for converting files from one audio format to another. You can convert multiple tracks at the same time and stop conversion any time you want.
A simple tag-editor is integrated into the program to enable editing information about the converted files (title, artist, album, year, genre) and adding personal comments. If information about the file is missing, you can activate the Free DB feature to download CD information from the Internet.
