The Acoustic Labs Multitrack Plus is a powerful audio recorder with a multiple track recording feature and extensive editing functions. It allows having up to 24 independent tracks each of which can be edited without affecting the other tracks. When recording new tracks, all existing tracks play back simultaneously with the recorded audio, so that you can record in perfect time with the existing audio. The tool allows to record and play back sound in CD quality (44.1 KHz, 16 Bit, Stereo). It also supports sequencing, mixing, real-time effects, audio loop creation, and more. After finishing your audio project, all of the tracks can be mixed down to a single audio track and saved as a WAV or MP3 file.
The Acoustic Labs Multitrack Plus has three interfaces developed for different purposes. The Track View contains all of the audio that was recorded or imported into the project and works as the main control panel. It allows to record up to 4 tracks and view up to 8 tracks simultaneously. The Audio Editor Interface allows performing precise editing (cut, copy, paste) on extended audio snippets, audio loops and independent imported or recorded audio. Beyond the typical editing features the multitrack recorder knows how to modify volume, fade in or fade out, mute and reverse audio. Audio effects (echo/delay, reverb, chorus, flange, pitch shift, equalizer, and visual levels) can be also applied to a specific section of the audio data or the entire audio loaded into the Audio Editor Interface. The Loop Bank Interface can handle up to 32 different loops. After loading or creating a loop, it can be easily inserted anywhere within the audio project's Track View Interface.
