Helium Music Manager is a full-featured music management tool with functions of a tag editor, cd ripper, audio converter, mp3 analyzer, duplicate finder, cd burner, player, and scrobbler. It is offered in three editions: free, premium and network.
The music organizer will scan your computer and add music files in MP3, MP4, WAV, AAC, M4A, WMA, OGG, FLAC, MPC, APE file formats to the library. It also supports adding vinyl records and tapes. You can rip and encode your Audio CDs with the built-in CD ripper and add ripped tracks to the library with their names automatically retrieved from the internet; import your library from Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, etc. To customize your library, you can set the music collection manager to rename files and create folder structures automatically, convert files to different formats. The MP3 Analyzer can be used to check for errors and repair broken MP3 files.
The application provides many ways to add or correct meta-data. The integrated Tag Editor allows to add and edit artist, album and title information, as well as lyrics and pictures. It also contains tools for automatically downloading information from online sources, such as FreeDB, Discogs, Yahoo, Google or Amazon.com, and a tool to extract tag information from your filenames.
Helium Music Manager allows you to quickly find albums and tracks in your music collection. You can view your collection as in Windows Explorer, as album thumbnails, or in an intuitive Web-style user interface. To find music from a certain artist, genre or other criteria, you can use the built-in search engine.
Helium Music Manager comes with a fully featured player with smart playlists, equalizer and auto normalization support, multiple playlist management. There are also tools available to easily correct misspellings in tags or to eliminate duplicates, create reports and view statistics. Helium Music Manager can be remotely controlled from your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch with the help of Helium Remote.
