Plato Video Joiner is an easy-to-use video editor which will help you join any number of video files in the popular file formats such as AVI/DIVX, MPEG, WMV/ASF, RM/RMVB or MOV into one video fast and with remarkable quality. The created videos can be used on many portable devices, including iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, 3GP mobile phone, BlackBerry, Archos, Creative Zen, iRiver, etc. The tool converts video with the speed five times faster than real-time playback.
The program interface is designed in the way that helps any user to learn the tool as quickly as possible: the clear buttons with self-explaining names, the large file list area and the integrated video player with basic functions. By clicking the plus button the user adds the required number of video files for joining from the hard disk. The files are shown now in the file list with all their details (length, location, etc.) in the bottom part of the program window. The arrow buttons allow to arrange files in the desired order. In this step the user can remove unwanted files with minus button. The original files can be previewed in the built-in video player. The player has one additional function: it allows to set start and end position of video clip to be merged. At the top of the main window you can select the output format by clicking one of the five tab buttons. Plato Video Joiner lets you customize the properties that influence video quality. These include frame size, bitrate, frames per second, and other additional settings. Click the 'Create' button to convert or merge the selected video files.
The video joiner is capable of combining video files in different formats into one large video in the one of the supported formats (AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV, RM). This can be very useful when one creates videos from fragments obtained from different sources.
