The Cucusoft iPod Movie/Video Converter will convert videos to iPod Movie / iPod Video to play on such portable devices as iPod video, iPod touch, iPod video nano, iPhone, Apple TV, video-capable MP3 players, and others. It supports a lot of video formats including DivX, XviD, MOV, RM, RMVB, DVR-MS, MPEG, WMV, AVI, and audio formats such as AC3, AAC, MP2, MP3, MP4, RA,WMA.

The iPod video converter offers the intuitive user interface, good looking skins are also available. The program window is divided into 3 sections. In the upper section the user is prompted to choose a video file for conversion which can be previewed in the built-in player designed as an iPod screen (attached to the main program window from the right). In the middle section the user can select an output profile and output location for the file to be converted to iPod movie. The program offers a number of predefined profiles organized into 3 categories: iPod, iPhone, and Common Audio. Advanced users may adjust default profiles to suit their needs and save customized profiles to use in other sessions. The iPod converter allows changing video options (video bitrate, frame rate and video size) and audio options (audio bitrate, sample rate and channel) that have effect on the quality and size of the converted iPod video. At the bottom, a section of the program window named "Conversion status" allows the user to see what is going on at the moment and thus supervise the conversion of original files to iPod Video.
